In the Sydenhams League Cup (formerly Wessex League Cup) Poole Town have been drawn at home to Verwood Town. The match will take place on Wednesday 13th September.

In the Hampshire Senior Cup   Poole Town will be at home to Locks Heath in the 1st round. The tie must take place on or before the 7th October 2006 and the winners will be away to the winners of Blackfield & Langley V Bournemouth Poppies on or before 4th November.

Players Out

Following Leigh Phillips's move to Bournemouth Poppies it has been confirmed that both Ollie Cherrett and keeper Paul Spillane have also signed for the same club. Spillane's midweek work commitments menat he would not be fully available to Poole so he has gone to Poppies as cover for their first choice keeper.

Cup Draws

Poole Town have been drawn at home to Southern League Taunton Town in the Preliminary Round of the FA Cup - Saturday 2nd September.

In the FA Vase Poole have been drawn away to Devon League side Budleigh Salterton on Saturday 23rd September in the 2nd Qualifying Round.

Poole received byes in the first round of both cups.
