Mascots for New Season

For the new 2008/09 season Poole Town Football Club is hoping to have a mascot for as many games as possible (home and away).

For just £20 the boy or girl will get the following:-

  • lead out the team in Poole Town Football Club strip (provided by the Club for the occasion)
  • photo with the two captains and the officials prior to kick-off
  • photo to appear in next home matchday programme
  • free entry to the game together with free entry for one accompanying adult

Mascots will need to be at the ground half an hour before kick-off.

So if you have any children / grandchildren that you want to treat or indeed know of anyone who would love to be a Poole Town mascot for a match then please give Club Director Rob Bayston a ring on 07719652949. Rob will take bookings as soon as the fixture list is known.

Message from Loic Rocher

Fans of the Dolphins from 2001/02 season will fondly remember Frenchman Loic Rocher playing for Poole Town. He made 31 appearances and scored 6 goals and was a great favourite with the Poole supporters - a terrific left foot as well! Loic has emailed me this week with the following message:-

"Hello guys...

I have been playing for the club a few years back. Loic Gonzalez-Rocher is my name... i don't know if you remember me, but i do remember the great time i had playing at this club... always got a wonderful support from everybody working around the team... i still check on a weekly basis how the Dolphins are doing. I am in Sweden and playing football there... I miss England for the passion you have with football...

I hope success for years to come...

Lloic"

Good to know Loic is still playing football and we wish him well in his career.
