As feared Leigh Phillips has decided to leave and join his pal James Wood at Bournemouth Poppies for next season.

However, the excellent news is that Poole have signed former favourite Karim Benssaouda for the coming season.

Tommy has also secured the services of ex Salisbury and Lymington & New Milton utility player, Steve Strong. Strong has played on a couple of occasions before for Poole and will be a quality addition to the squad.
