News With the newly formed Reserve side taking it's place in the Dorset Senior League next season I have started to set up a Reserve section on the website. The main link can now be found on the main menu on the left as well as clicking here. THe Reserve section will develop as the new season gets underway. Thanks to manager Kevin Jackson for his contributions in this regard. Player News More good news for the club as Marc Jackson has turned down offers from two Wessex League clubs and has re-signed for Poole Town. Fixture News A new friendly fixture has been added - Holt United away on July 17th. There will also be another away friendly on July 20th - probably away at another Dorset Premier League club. Training dates and times are also listed above which takes the players right up to the start of next season. The new fixture list has now been started and can be found here. Supporters Help Required There will be a meeting at the

Cherrett Signs for Poole Town In another great deal, manager Tom Killick has secured the signature of experienced centre back Ollie Cherrett from Bashley. The former Dorchester Town defender was part of the Southern League Eastern Division winning side over a year ago. Whilst with Basley last season Cherrett also spent a loan period with Gosport Borough. |

Funnell Signs for Poole Town Tuesday 1st June saw the announcement that Salisbury City's talented midfield playmaker Gary Funnell has signed for the Dolphins. 22 year old son of record Poole Town goalscorer Tony Funnell, the ex AFC Bournemouth trainee, Weymouth and Bashley midfielder made 24 appearances for Salisbury last season scoring 2 goals. Equally as important, fans favourite Carl Woodward has turned down Graham Kemp's offer to join him at Brockenhurst and has pledged his future to Poole Town. Ryan Woolfenden has also given the club a boost by re-signing for next season as well. Two new faces have also signed -
both from Dorset Premier League clubs. Second highest goalscorer in the Dorset Premier
League last season Anthony Warrington has signed from Dorchester Town after scoring 21

Tommy Killick has wasted no time in trying to secure signatures for next season. There is news that the club have already secured the signature of a notable midfielder but until he informs his current club his name will remain undisclosed. Tommy is also working on signing up two of the most prominent strikers from the Dorset Premier League in the last few years. More news of signings as they occur. |
