The Dolphins News & Views - June 2002
| 29th June | FA
Vase News As supporters are probably aware Poole Town Football Club have been working very hard to bring the ground up to the standard required for entry into this season's FA Vase competition. Although much of the work is ongoing we have been backed by the council and the school and have been entered into the competition. The draw was made by the FA on Friday 28th June and the Dolphins have been drawn at home to Wessex League Christchurch. The tie will take place on September 7th. This is another major step forward for the club and the Club Directors should be congratulated for their hard work and dedication in recent months in order for this to happen. With plans ongoing to have Wessex League standard facilities by the start of the 2003/04 season, there is every reason to feel confident as we go into the new campaign. |
